Quick Facts About Me

  • I studied [Your Degree] at [Your University] — and spent the next several years applying it across industries and countries.
  • I have lived and worked in X countries across different regions — each one shaping how I think.
  • I’ll eat almost anything. My friends say I have no taste buds. I prefer to call it cultural adaptability.
  • I like owning less. A minimalist lifestyle gives me more space for experiences, ideas, and the occasional plane ticket.
  • I collect stories, not souvenirs. The best things I’ve brought home are conversations, unexpected moments, and perspectives I didn’t have before.

My Journey

Chilhood – 2010

Born in the City of Lights

I was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan - the City of Lights, where different cultures, languages, ambitions, and everyday chaos meet. From an early age, I was drawn to drawing, sketching, DIY projects, books, and sport. Cricket kept me moving; curiosity kept me asking questions. My first summer job was cleaning a grocery store. The payment? Dry fruits. I sold water balls, worked with a water-can distributor, and discovered early that small efforts could create something of your own. Those simple experiences taught me a lesson I still carry. Start where you are, work with what you have, and keep moving.

2010 – 2015

Student by Day, Teacher by Choice

I studied Chemical Engineering at NED University of Engineering & Technology while teaching school, college, and university students for six years. Being both student and teacher taught me something no textbook could: understand people, simplify complexity, and never stop learning.

2015 – 2016

From Theory to Reality

My first professional chapter began in an largest oil refinery complex of Pakistan. Suddenly, engineering wasn't an equation anymore - it was people, processes, pressure, decisions, and consequences. That experience changed how I looked at work.

2016 – 2020

Going International

I moved to Germany to study and ended up discovering much more than academia. Erasmus in Finland, winter school in USA, research, biogas and waste-to-energy projects, scholarships, cultural initiatives, cricket, communities, and new friendships turned a degree into a life-changing international chapter.

2020 – Present

Where I Am Now

Engineering led me somewhere I hadn't originally planned: sustainability, ESG, sustainable finance, data, and European regulation. I began working across industries, organizations, and markets - turning technical complexity into something people could actually use. Today · Many Chapters, One Direction Consulting. Entrepreneurship. Digital solutions. Writing. Travel. New ideas. I don't see these as separate paths. They're different expressions of the same instinct: understand, build, and make things better. And I'm not done yet.

A Mind Shaped by Many Worlds

Different disciplines. Different countries. Different experiences. They’ve shaped how I think, work, communicate, and see what comes next.

🧠

Think Beyond the Obvious

I like stepping back, asking better questions, and seeing the bigger picture before jumping to conclusions.

🌍

See Beyond Borders

Living, studying, working, and traveling across cultures has taught me to look at ideas from more than one perspective.

🤝

Move Between Worlds

Engineering, sustainability, business, technology, and entrepreneurship have taught me to feel comfortable where different disciplines meet.

✍️

Make Complex Things Clear

Whether teaching, writing, consulting, or simply explaining an idea, I enjoy turning complexity into something people can understand and act on.
